Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has charged a Kitchener man with various criminal offences after an ongoing investigation involving child luring.
The 27 year old accused and the victim, a 15 year old Township of Chatsworth female who is known to him, began communicating with one another via the Internet. The communication, which became sexually explicit in nature, was reported to police on Friday, August 14, 2015.
The accused, who was subsequently arrested and held for a bail hearing on August 17, returns to court in Owen Sound on September 24, 2015 to speak to the following charges:
– Luring a Person Under 16 Years of Age by Means of Telecommunication
– Invitation to Sexual Touching Under 16 Years of Age
– Possession of Child Pornography
