The Municipality of Meaford is inviting all volunteers to attend the annual Volunteer Appreciation Day being held on Thursday, August 20, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Rotary Harbour Pavilion.
Anyone who volunteers in any capacity, with any group or organization serving the community of the Municipality of Meaford is invited to attend this Meet & Greet/Come & Go BBQ being held in their honour.
There will be plenty of food, refreshments at the event.
Council and Staff will be acknowledging all volunteers for their generous contributions and dedication to our beautiful Community.
In previous years the event has attracted more than 250 volunteers. These volunteers give their time and efforts to various areas such as national registered charities, local tourism projects, local caring and other organizations, churches, and sports. Every volunteer is welcome to attend.
