On Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at approximately 11:31 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in in progress to the former Scott Clay Factory located on Cook Street, in the Municipality of Meaford.
At least five individuals, one of which is believed to be a female, were observed exiting the building which had been forcibly entered. Nothing appears to have been taken from the building at this time.
Grey County OPP with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Canine Unit searched the area for the suspects.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
