Meet Your Farmers’ Market Vendors: MY NEW ME – It’s All About Passion

Staff

In 2006, Gabriela was a well known and respected ceramicist with a thriving business in Buenos Aires Argentina. That same year she met a Canadian tourist while waiting at a rural bus stop.

In his best Spanish, he asked her to join him for a “mate”(traditional Argentine tea) while they waited. Fast forward two years, married with a one year old daughter they moved back to his home town, Toronto, to start a new life together; one very different from the life she was leaving behind.

After immersing herself in English as a second language for two years she was ready to embark on a new career path with new goals. She was accepted into the esthetics programme at George Brown College and discovered her passion for skin care and working with clients. Now a certified medical esthetician, skin care therapist and aromatherapist she has taken another big step and launched her all natural, all organic line of skin care products.

“As a ceramicist, I work with my hands to create art…it is my passion. I discovered I could use the same traditional method creating my skin care products as I do my ceramics. I was creating again; a different product but with the same passion. I had found ‘my new me’ and I named my product line after my discovery…My New Me,” says Gabriela.

Gabriela’s mantra is all natural, all organic and absolutely chemical free. Ingredients are all precisely measured and blended. Products are made in small quantities to ensure maximum quality. The process is environmentally friendly and the packaging is reusable and recyclable. The result is customized products for all her clients.

“My goal,” says Gabriela, “is to help my clients feel they are doing something good for their body inside and out.”

“I have found MY NEW (Canadian) ME and would love to help you find “your new you.”
