Saying ‘yes’ to Encore paid off for Margrit Ann Olson and Scott Grant of Georgian Bluffs. They matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the November 4, 2022 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ultramar on Sykes Street in Meaford.
The married couple say they play LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX weekly, and they always add Encore. “We checked the ticket twice,” Scott shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings. Margrit continued, “I saw a $100 prize amount and my brain froze. When I noticed there were three more zeroes I showed Scott my phone – It was just shocking!”
Margrit and Scott plan to buy new appliances for their home.
“It’s a wonderful feeling,” Margrit concluded.
