New in 2025, the Tom Thomson Art Gallery is announcing the return of art camp programming at the TOM. Camp TOM: Summer Art Adventures will run for six weeks in the summer. Each week, campers will explore different artistic techniques and media, from watercolours and clay sculpting to mixed media and printmaking, all while drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Harrison Park. Led by the TOM’s Education and Engagement team, children will spend their days creating artwork in the TOM studio, sketching ‘en plein air’ in the park, and participating in guided gallery tours. Campers will also engage in outdoor hikes and creative adventures, culminating each week with a public art display in the TOM atrium, where they can proudly show their work. It’s a summer full of exploration, creativity, and fun – the ultimate Canadian art camp experience where nature and imagination come to life.
