St. Vincent Street/Grey Road 7 Road Reconstruction Project to Continue Throughout September

The Municipality of Meaford is advising that the road reconstruction project on St. Vincent Street/Grey Road 7 will continue throughout September. Access to Grey Road 7 from Muir Street will continue to be closed, however with the back-to-school season approaching, residents can still reach Georgian Bay Community School by accessing St. Vincent Street/Grey Road 7 from Sykes Street South/Highway 26.

The Contractor, Consultant, Grey County, and the Municipality of Meaford are working together to ensure the construction is completed correctly and in a timely manner and will work to minimize impacts to residents and local traffic as much as possible. Project completion may extend into October; however, the Municipality will continue to provide updates as the work progresses. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time,” said the municipality.

The St. Vincent Street/Grey Road 7 reconstruction project is being completed in collaboration with Grey County as part of the Municipality of Meaford’s 2023 Capital Projects.
