The Municipality of Meaford is inviting residents to a virtual public meeting on February 23, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the Official Plan Review.
An Official Plan is important because it describes Municipal Council’s policies on how land in the community should be used and helps to ensure that planning and change will meet the needs of the community in the future.
This public meeting is an opportunity to learn about common community themes that residents are identifying in their responses to the Official Plan survey. You will also have an opportunity to learn more about the process and legislative requirements for updating the Official Plan, project information from Municipal staff and NPG Planning Solutions and an introduction to Ryerson University Students who are assisting with data collection and analysis. The meeting will also include an open forum with participants.
Please RSVP to officialplan@meaford.ca by: Wednesday February 16, 2022. A Zoom link will be emailed to you upon confirmation. The Zoom invite offers both video and/or telephone information as options to join the meeting.
