Lois White of Meaford passed away suddenly in Owen Sound with Keith White, her beloved husband of 63 years, by her side.
Born in Meaford on February 17, 1938, Lois was a daughter of the late Melville and Edythe (nee Henning) Haines.
She was the loving mother of Bart (Carmen), Bonnie, and Bill (Denise) White. Lois was the proud grandmother of Joelle (Matt) Town, Cory White, Kaleb White, and Miciah White, and great-grandmother of Zara and Luka Town.
She is predeceased by her brothers Ted, Bill, and Ron Haines, and will be remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Lois spent many years teaching and loved to help others. She enjoyed baking and knitting and spending time with family and friends. She was kind and patient and will be missed by many.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service of interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
