Passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of Harvey Parkes. Terri was the proud and loving mother of Jeff (the late Susan), David (John Burbridge), and Susan Skinner (Earnest Burns). She was a devoted grandmother to Sarah (Demi) and Megan (Dylan), and a cherished great-grandmother to Addison, Rowen, and Oliver.
Terri was the dear sister of the late John (Sharon), Marilyn (the late Taffy), the late Fran (John), Linda (the late Norm), and Scott (Sue). She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Terri and Harvey lived for many years in Meaford, Ontario, where they built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. She had a passion for sewing, cooking, and spending time in her garden. She loved the theatre and travelling, and she and Harvey shared many memorable journeys together. Known for her strong will and loving heart, Terri treasured every moment spent with her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A celebration of Terri’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Meaford Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
