November 16, 1941 – April 19, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara on April 19, 2023, at
Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Beloved mother of William and Benjamin Fulghum, daughter of the late Dr. George Boddington and Elizabeth (Buffy) Beck, sister to George Boddington (Avis) and the late William Boddington of Port Hope. Adored aunt to Kate (Jeff), Martha (Mike), Stephanie, and Andrew Boddington (Amy) and Allison Ballantyne (Graham) and their families.
Barb grew up in Toronto, attended BSS, and loved her summers in Georgian Bay. She had a
wonderful career in PR and Communications and found her love of animals and the country
fulfilled when she moved to Beaver Valley and later Port Hope and Grafton. As a truly creative
spirit Barb loved to paint, create pottery, and write. She enjoyed life with her animals, her
gardens, friends, and most importantly to her – her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Very special thanks to Dennie Warner without whose help Barb could not have stayed in her
home in Grafton.
Private family funeral with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
