Passed away at his home on August 25, 2022. Born in Meaford on November 17, 1954, Jimmie Dennis Martin of Woodford was in his 68th year.
Loving father of April Martin (Bill Forsythe) of Port Stanley, and Cherished papa of Olivia and Ava Forsythe. Also, father to Dwayne (Chelan) Carriere, Shawn Evans (Kym) of Edmonton, and their families. Dear brother of Glen Martin (Edna), Doris Morris (Ralph), Murray Martin (Barb), Jack Martin (Colleen), Don Martin, Reg Martin (Lois), and Paul Martin (Nancy). Jim will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Mildred Martin.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, his body has been bequeathed to the University of Western Ontario in support of medical research education. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 1 – 3:30 p.m. at the Woodford Community Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
