Paul T. Besley passed on July 24, 2023, after a valiant fight against kidney disease and a vicious blood infection.
Born on May 30, 1954, Paul was a son of the late Dr. J.K. Besley and ‘Shirle’ L. (nee Bell) Besley.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ingrida Besley (nee Mezgirts), his brother John and sister-in-law Cheryl. Loved by Elizabeth Dunning, nephew Patrick (Andrea), niece Erika (Angelo) and their children Nora, Dallas, and Fiona, and will be sadly missed by numerous cousins.
Paul was a passionate woodworker and also spent many years skiing at Blue Mountain, mostly as a CSPS ski patroller for 43 years.
As per Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place. They say time is linear and that the happy times are happening now. So please lift a glass of scotch and wish Paul well and fresh powder to ski on.
