It’s Mother’s Day! Treat your Mum to breakfast at the Riverside Community Centre.
The menu includes sausages, back bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes, toast, fruit, coffee, and tea. Cost is $15 per person, ages 5-12 $7.
The Riverside Community Centre on the 7th Line has started their monthly breakfasts again from now through to September, on the second Sunday of the month. Run by local volunteers as a fundraiser to help keep the Centre running, breakfast is cafeteria-style, with scrambled eggs, ham, pancakes, toast, and hash browns.
The breakfasts began ten years ago, to help raise funds to cover the bills for the community centre. On Mother’s Day one year, more than 150 breakfasts were dished up by the volunteers.
