Meaford & St. Vincent Agricultural Society to Host First Annual ‘Redneck Games’

The Meaford & St. Vincent Agricultural Society will be holding the First Annual ‘Redneck Games’ on Saturday June 7, as a fundraising event for the society.

This fun-filled day will include eight different ‘Redneck Games’ as well as the finale of a Tug-o-War Tournament. Games will include Bale Rolling, Nail Driving, Toilet Seat Tossing, Spam Carving and Seed Spitting, Pass the Plunger, Wheelbarrow Race and Tire rolling, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7.

All teams will consist of four people, with both genders represented, and must be 18 years of age and older. Organizers ask that each team must raise a minimum of $50 to participate in the games. The Meaford & St. Vincent Agricultural Society is a registered charity and can provide receipts for any donation over $20.

Prizes will be awarded for the ‘Best Dressed Redneck’ team, the top fundraising team, as well as the team with the top overall points will win the ‘Redneck Trophy’.
