The Meaford Hospital Foundation has announced that ER: An Evening of Revelry 2025 raised more than $255,000 to support the revitalization of the Brightshores Meaford Hospital emergency department. The funds will go directly to enhancing patient care, upgrading equipment, and improving patient flow in a department that saw over 14,000 emergency visits in 2024 and serves communities across the region.
The success of the evening was made possible by the generous support of our presenting sponsors, Glen Road Capital Partners Inc. and Lora Bay Golf Club/Great Gulf, and by the generosity of guests, donors, auction item buyers, and our team of dedicated volunteers. The extraordinary efforts of the ER Event Committee were instrumental in planning the evening, turning vision into action and ensuring a seamless experience for guests. Their combined contributions have brought momentum to the campaign and will have an immediate impact on the emergency department’s revitalization efforts.

At the event, the Orchard Society was also launched. This is a new five-year giving campaign designed to cultivate sustained, long-term philanthropic support for the Meaford Hospital Foundation. The Orchard Society will provide a structured way for donors to invest in the hospital’s future, ensuring continued improvements to care, equipment, and patient experience over the coming years.
