The Meaford Hospital Foundation is extending thanks all of the volunteers, participants, and sponsors for the tremendous support for the 2022 Harbour Run/Walk.
The community has now raised over $80,000 for the event that saw over 300 individuals gather at the start line. This year all proceeds are to be directed towards improving access to mental health services in our region.
The overall winner of the race was Anna Carruthers with a time of 17:43. The top male winner was Emmett Leary who came in at 18:11.
“Everyone was so glad that the race is back after the last two years of Covid,” said organizers.
Rob Peacock, CEO of the Meaford Hospital Foundation was thankful for the organizers of the event.
“Special thanks to both David Glass, as Chair of the event, and to Vice Chair Kevin Knight – along with the rest of the Committee for their extraordinary efforts in this 26th annual event,” said Peacock.
The Hospital, now in its 70th year, looks forward to working with the community on other special event initiatives this year.
