After a three-year hiatus, this holiday season the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) invites the community to celebrate another successful and meaningful year in animal welfare. On December 8, from 3 – 6 p.m., the GTHS will be offering festive treats, tours of the facility, opportunities to meet adoptable animals, and the chance to meet new faces on the team.
“This event is one of our favourites of the year, so we are thrilled to welcome the community back to the Animal Centre again after our three-year hiatus. We look forward to taking a moment to thank our community for the extraordinary support that they show us every single day. We celebrate the lives we have saved and the stories that have touched our hearts,” said Sonya Reichel, Executive Director of the GTHS. “We are very thankful this holiday season.”
The Holiday Open House officially kicks off the annual supply and food drive for the Animal Centre. This year, the GTHS has an urgent and ongoing need for monetary donations to cover rising costs. Any amount, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Donations from the GTHS Wish List (including canned dog and cat food, cat litter, and operational supplies) will also be gratefully accepted.
