The Grey Bruce Health Unit has enabled a cryogenic freezer, donated by Chapman’s Ice Cream, to be forwarded to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
The freezer provides cold storage at -70 degrees Celsius and will be used in Windsor-Essex for their use in storage of COVID-19 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
Due to the tremendous support provided by local businesses, specifically Chapman’s Ice Cream, the Grey Bruce Health Unit was in a positive position to provide the freezer to an area in high need.
