Owen Sound’s Good Cheer Splash Pad at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park opened for the season on Friday, May 20.
“The splash pad is the hottest way to stay cool in the summer, open every day from 9 a.m. to dusk with no admission fee,” said the City of Owen Sound.
Please follow these rules when using the Splash Pad:
- Use of the splash pad is at your own risk and sole responsibility.
- Children must be supervised at all times while on the splash pad.
- No climbing on the spray equipment.
- No pets (except for service animals), glass, rocks, bottles, or other foreign objects are allowed in the Splash Pad.
- No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, or bicycles allowed.
- Smoke Free environment.
- The use of soaps, detergents, or shampoos is not allowed in the splash pad.
- Be considerate of others.
The Good Cheer Splash Pad opened in 2011 thanks to a donation from the Scenic City Order of Good Cheer and an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant.
