The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) has announced the return of ‘Ski for Pets’, taking place on February 1 at Craigleith Ski Club, and they invite the community to join in the fun. Now that winter weather is finally upon us, conditions will be fabulous for a day on and off the slopes in support of the day-to-day operations at the GTHS that help support over 4,000 pets annually.
London is one of those pets, who is currently waiting at the GTHS to find her new, loving family. This adorable 4-month-old pup has been at the GTHS for just over a month. Without events like Ski for Pets, London would not have the food, shelter, and enrichment she needs to thrive.
“We are so excited for our second annual Ski for Pets Event,” said Lisa Stucke, annual fund manager at the GTHS. “Last year’s event turned out to be an incredible day of skiing and camaraderie in support of pets in need. We cannot wait to return to Craigleith Ski Club to host another fabulous day of fun and impact with our incredibly generous and supportive community. Gather your friends and plan to enjoy a day on the slopes for a worthy cause!”
