On Tuesday, February 20, a group of over 30 elementary students from the Georgian Bay Community School choir were proud to stand and sing the national anthem at the first playoff game for the Meaford Knights hockey team.
Knights General Manager Nathan Parrish kindly allowed the kids the chance to showcase their talents and generously provided free entry for the kids and for an accompanying parent.
Many parents and grandparents were there to cheer on the kids and support them in their efforts. The Knights’ players were also very kind in making some noise to celebrate the choir’s success on the ice.
Congratulations to all those who participated and many thanks to families and to the Knights’ management for arranging this opportunity.
