The Municipality of Meaford has advised that, starting Monday, August 19, concrete exterior work at the Building and Planning Office, located at 15 Trowbridge Street West, commenced. This work will be the start of a broad update on the exterior of the building done by multiple contractors, including new energy efficient windows and doors, accessible railings, and paint, which will take place within the next few months.
“These exterior updates aim to prevent deterioration and enhance the welcoming atmosphere of the building,” said the municipality.
The concrete work will generate minimal noise, and the sidewalk will remain accessible. This project will not impact on the Building and Planning Office’s operating hours.
