Twenty-two members from the Meaford Curling Club participated in ‘Canada’s Big Shootout’, as part of the Curling Day In Canada celebrations on Saturday, February 22.
The goal was to have as many draw shots covering the pin-hole as possible in a 30-minute time span.
“It looks so easy on television, so who would have thought that this is impossible?” said the club. “Nevertheless, it was a highly entertaining and exciting event with a lot of laughter.”
The club looks forward to improving its result for next year’s event.
