The Municipality of Meaford invites the community to several holiday events that bring the Municipality together in the spirit of the season:
Tree Lighting and Window Display Unveiling
- Thursday, November 28, 5:30 p.m., Meaford Hall
- Join as our municipal Christmas tree gets lit.
After, take a tour downtown to enjoy the Meaford Memories window displays, created by local businesses to celebrate Meaford’s 150th anniversary and the holidays.
Merry Movie Night
- Saturday, November 30, Meaford Hall
- Games begin at 5:30 p.m., movie screening of Disney’s ‘The Santa Clause’ begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Free admission and complimentary snacks

Fill a Sleigh Day
- Saturday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Red Apple (206497 Highway 26)
- Donate non-perishable food items to support the Meaford Food Bank
Help the Meaford Fire Department ‘fill a sleigh’ and bring the spirit of giving to those in need this holiday season.
Wreath Wonderland
- November 29 to January 3 throughout urban Meaford
- Tour the beautifully decorated wreaths displayed by local businesses and vote for your favourite.
The Meaford Kinsmen Club’s annual Santa Claus parade will be held on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
