Georgian Bay Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (GBBJJ) sent a competition team to the ADCC Toronto Open, one of the most prestigious submission grappling events in North America. The tournament featured over 700 athletes travelling from across Canada and the United States to compete under the world-renowned Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) banner.
The event took place at Exhibition Place on February 14, and GBBJJ competitors brought home five medals.

On the weekend of February 27 to March 1, York University hosted the Canadian Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event was open to athletes in Grade 8 and above who had met the qualifying standards. More than 1,050 athletes registered to compete in this prestigious national competition, including Georgian Bay Coyote Richard Saunders.
Several elite Canadian athletes were also in attendance to inspire the next generation, including Olympians Damien Warner, Sarah Mitton, and Pierce LePage.
