The greens were ready for the annual Meaford Lawn Bowling Club Members Only Tournament held on Sunday, September 13.
In the spring the green was severely damaged by the river ice that broke down the fence and invaded the club. As a result, lawn bowling started a little later than usual and only four of the 'rinks' (lanes) were used most of the season.

Georgian Bay Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sent a team of five competitors to the 2026 GTA Classic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition in Brampton on September 12, and came home with an outstanding performance.
The team finished the day with a combined 11-1 record, nine finishes, four gold medals and one bronze medal.
