Electric Eclectics organizers have announced the cancellation of their 2026 festival due to the sudden loss of 50 percent of their annual funding.

On February 21, the Meaford Curling Club's Funspiel took place. The goal was to host an event suited for new curlers to the sport and to the Meaford Curling Club. The event had 96 participants for the event along with friends and family that stopped by to check out the action.
