Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in West Region's 13 detachments have conducted more Festive RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot checks and charged more impaired drivers to date than the duration of the entire 2024 Festive RIDE campaign.
With just over one week remaining in this year's campaign, West Region OPP officers have conducted 2,534 RIDE check events with the following results:
