Pirate Scarecrows are coming ashore! Pirates will be invading Meaford this fall (September 8 to October 15), and organizers need your help in August to make it happen.
You can join in on the fun of giving each of the ‘Pirate Scarecrows’ an amazing personality. Organizers have the Scarecrows and the clothes; they just need your time to help dress them.
Organizers will gather at the Harbour Pavilion on:
Tuesday, August 15 (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Tuesday, August 22 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
Wednesday, August 23 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
There is always a treat for the Scarecrow Invasion’s hard-working volunteers. Bring your friends and family – make it a fun outing. If you are in high school and would like to earn some volunteer hours, come on down and bring your volunteer sheet to be signed. It is a fun and easy way to get some hours. Come when you can, and stay for as long as you can. Many hands make light work.
