Blue Mountain Resort, Ontario’s largest ski and snowboard destination, welcomed winter lovers to opening day on Thursday, December 7.
Skiers and snowboarders were invited to hit the slopes and kick off another winter season at Blue.
Thanks to the hard work of the Resort operations team, the Silver Bullet high-speed six-pack chairlift, servicing Tranquility ski run, and the Easy Rider beginner carpet will be running from 9AM to 4:30PM. Village amenities are open to help enhance the start of ski season and complimentary hot chocolate will be offered in the lift plaza.
Guests looking for lift tickets can purchase in advance online and use Blue’s new Ticket Pickup Kiosks, to quickly get to the lift and start their first ski day of the season. Guest Services will also be open as of 9AM.
Night skiing at Blue is scheduled to start Thursday, December 14 when runs will be open until 9PM daily (weather and conditions permitting). For real-time updates on open terrain, guests are encouraged to visit the Blue Mountain Resort website at www.bluemountain.ca or download the Blue Mountain App. The app and website will provide the latest information on open lifts, available runs, and any additional features or events taking place throughout the season.
