Regarding John Mikkelson’s letter of January 17, which read: 3rd paragraph…..”TCEnergy will carry the cost of constructing the facility… The net financial benefit for Ontario ratepayers over the lifespan of the facility is estimated to be $12.1 billion”.
Gosh! This sounds like everyone’s fairy godmother!
Except, how to measure the cost of environmental degradation, property risk and devaluation, impact on roads, housing, peace and tranquility over 4 years plus?
And what, pray tell, is the lifespan number used and what is the estimated profit for TCE over this same lifespan?
