On July 17, 2017 at approximately 4:05 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Grey Road 5 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Police attended and found that the vehicle, a grey 2006 Volkswagen Jetta, had been reported stolen to police earlier the same day. The vehicle had been taken from a residence located on Superior Street in the Municipality of Meaford sometime after 4:00 a.m. on July 17.
