Beginning this week, Municipality of Meaford staff will be offering services at the Sydenham Centre every Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Formerly the Sydenham Depot, the building at 458372 Grey Road 11 underwent renovations earlier this year. In addition to serving as one of the locations for the mayor’s ‘coffee time’ sessions and a meeting place for the Sydenham Optimist’s club, these improvements allow the establishment of municipal services based on a one year pilot schedule at this location. Services will include accepting cash or cheque payments for taxes and utilities, purchasing dog tags and bag tags, and completing rec program registrations, facility bookings, and commissioning documents.
In addition to municipal services, library services will also be offered at the Sydenham Centre on the first and third Thursday of the month in the afternoons from 12-4pm. Staff will be on-site to provide services according to the following schedule:
