Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the investigative support of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, as well as the Forensic Identification Services Unit (Mount Forest), are investigating a robbery that occurred on Miller Street in the Municipality of Meaford.
Officers responded to the residence at 1:35 p.m., on Saturday, April 23,after receiving a 911 call for assistance.
The investigation at this time reveals that two male suspects entered the residence through an unlocked door. Once inside, the suspects confronted the home owners and demanded cash. The suspects left the residence in an unknown direction.
The victims, an adult male and female, were not injured. The female attended the hospital as a precaution and was released.
The investigation is in its early stages.
