“It’s great to see the election off to a promising start regarding voter turnout. I hope electors who have not yet voted make a plan to vote and visit a help centre or review meafordvotes.ca to familiarize themselves with the process if needed,” said Margaret Wilton-Siegel, Municipal Clerk / Returning Officer.

Electors are encouraged to get prepared by choosing the voting method that works best for them and reviewing the steps before they begin. Step-by-step guides and how-to videos for internet and telephone voting are available at www.meafordvotes.ca.

Electors who have not received their Voter Information Letter should visit a Voting Help Centre with identification. For help with a Voter Information Letter or the voting process, contact elections@meaford.ca or call 519-538-1060 ext. 1234.
