A single-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Meaford has claimed the life of a 46-year-old Chatsworth resident.
At 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, members of the Grey-Bruce County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Grey-Bruce emergency services responded to a collision on 16 Sideroad between 11th and 12th Line in Meaford Twp.
Upon arrival, emergency services located a vehicle that had left the roadway and sustained heavy damage. The lone vehicle driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. OPP traffic collision investigators were on scene for several hours. Roads in the area remained closed during the investigation.
