Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On May 3, at approximately 8:03 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to an address in the Municipality of Meaford and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
As a result, a 40-year-old from Meaford was charged with:
- Mischief
The accused was subsequently released, however on May 4, at approximately 5:18 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to the same address following a further incident. As a result, the accused was additionally charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking ( two counts)
The accused was arrested and held for a bail hearing and was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on May 5.
