On Sunday, November 3, Trinity United Church celebrates 175 years of worship, fellowship and community service.
Located in the heart of Annan, steps from a breathtaking view of beautiful Georgian Bay, the ‘little country church’ commemorates a rich history of community and adaptation through changing times while steadfastly upholding the value of welcoming everyone.
The anniversary celebration will include a special worship service at 10:30 a.m., with guest speaker Rev. Paul Ivany, author of My Daily Minute, and music by the Farrar Family Singers.
Community members, past congregants, and friends are warmly invited to join in this joyous occasion. Lunch will be provided.
Throughout its 175 years, Trinity United Church has not only been a place of worship but also a beacon for its deep commitment and compassion to the community. Team Trinity is a significant volunteer group with O’Share. Trinity also holds drives for food, clothing, and personal needs, which support many social service organizations, such as Safe ‘n Sound and the Women’s Centre.
Trinity Annan United Church will have a historical exhibit showcasing photographs, documents, and memorabilia that chronicle its journey from its settler roots to its open doors today that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
