The Tom Thomson Art Gallery is hosting its Spring Fever fundraising event at the historic Butchart Estate on Saturday, April 27, from 7-11 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy custom hors d’oeuvres, an oyster bar, and a sushi station by Chef Jason Merton, as well as an open bar with a variety of refreshing beverages, all included in the ticket price. They will also have a chance to try out some spring-inspired drinks created by mixologist Kaja Poplawski at the cash cocktail bar. Tarot card readings, sketch artist, magician, spring-inspired silent auction, and wonderful music by the Jolie Anastasia Trio are all part of the night’s unfolding fun. Partygoers will be captivated by the Trio’s celestial vocals, killer harmonies, and exceptional guitar, mandolin, and banjo styling that are reminiscent of legends like Joni Mitchel and Nick Drake.
“The opportunity to design a party against the stunning backdrop of the historic 1891 Butchart Estate has been an honour. It’s inspired the Fundraising Committee to be very creative with their approach to planning and I know that people will find this a unique experience and memorable evening,” said Aidan Ware, Director and Chief Curator.
Tickets to the event are $125 with only 50 available. To get tickets, visit the Gallery, call 519-376-1932, or purchase them online: https://tinyurl.com/bdh25vxx
