Last Saturday, February 24, United Way Bruce Grey along with local community partners hosted four Coldest Night of the Year walks across four locations in the region: Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Grey Highlands, and Meaford. The events were met with resounding success, fostering crucial conversations and rallying community support to aid individuals experiencing hardship, hunger, or homelessness.
Across the four United Way locations, a total of $103,049 has been raised so far. The collective efforts of 527 walkers and volunteers made this event a resounding success. Community members are encouraged to continue fundraising until March 31st to further contribute to the cause and help each location reach their community’s goal.
