Back in 1960, Tom Lehr wrote a song called “Don’t drink the water, don’t breathe the air”. I was reminded of that song when the black smoke and flames rose straight up and destroyed a valued, well liked auto repair shop and gave residents water restrictions.
The song was actually an early environmental song, but the title seemed so apt!
Just a song that re-entered my mind after so many years!
