The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals after a break and enter in Meaford.
On December 31, 2022, at approximately 3:24 a.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a suspicious vehicle at a business on Grey Road 12 in the Municipality of Meaford.
Once on scene, officers located two individuals and placed them under arrest.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged Tammy Morris, 46, from the Municipality of Meaford with the following offences:
- Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
The Grey Bruce OPP have also charged Scott Weiler, 34, from the Municipality of Meaford with the following offences:
- Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
