Editor,
In October of 2022, I was a patient at Meaford Hospital. I can only think of positive comments regarding the staff. During my stay, I noticed a few things that required attention. Graham Fry, Meaford Hospital Manager of Operations, met with me. He was very receptive and caring with respect to the need for the broken TV in the Patient Room to be replaced and supplying two new DVD players that were necessary for:
The Patient Room replacement TV.
The second DVD player for the TV on the rolling cart.
Therefore, the use of the aforementioned devices will enable patients and their visitors to enjoy time together regarding Audio/Visual entertainment in their room and/or in the Patient Room.
Also, one of the Blood Pressure transferable monitors did not hold a charge anymore. Manager Fry said that he would follow up on this as well.
I was a patient from October 8th to October 14th inclusive, transferred from Victoria Hospital in London, Ont. to Meaford Hospital, for recovery and physiotherapy following back surgery.
In conclusion, “Hats Off” to the Meaford Staff and praise to them for their kindness and medical knowledge. By the way, the meals were excellent and hot!
It would be awesome if there are any philanthropists that could make a charitable donation to Meaford Hospital to help out.
Please email and/or call this wonderful heartfelt person, Graham Fry, Meaford Hospital Manager of Operations.
