Driver Fails to Remain After Hitting Parked SUV

On Tuesday, December 16, at approximately 9:52 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fail to remain motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of Meaford.

Sometime between noon and 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, the victim’s car, a 2013 Ford SPE sport utility vehicle, was struck by another vehicle while parked in the lot of 24 Albery Court in Meaford. 

The Ford sustained dents and scratches to the driver’s side front quarter panel and bumper, preventing the driver’s door from opening.  The involved driver failed to remain at the scene and report the collision.

Police would like to speak to this individual about the collision.  Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information, is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
