GBHS Seeking Public Input on New Strategic Plan

Staff

medical doctorGrey Bruce Health Services is developing a new Strategic Plan to guide the corporation over the next five years. To assist with the plan, members of the public, including patients and their families, are invited to share their thoughts on the current status of health care at Grey Bruce Health Services, and their ideas on future directions for the organization.

We want to ensure that our group of six hospitals remains strong and vital, and that our programs and services continue to meet the health needs of our communities,” said GBHS President and CEO Lance Thurston. “We’re seeking input from our staff, physicians, volunteers, donors and partners, and we would also like to hear from patients and the public through our survey. As users of our services, patients and their families are in an excellent position to provide input into local health care.”

The short, confidential survey can be accessed from the GBHS website at www.gbhs.on.ca or by visiting the Business Offices in any of our six hospitals: Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Owen Sound, Southampton, and Wiarton.

The survey will remain open until April 30th. Results will be summarized and used in the development of the Strategic Plan for 2016-2020.

Updates on the strategic planning process and other opportunities for engagement will be posted on the GBHS website.
