On July 15, 2020 at 1:37 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a domestic dispute that had occurred between two parties at the side of the road on Trowbridge Street in Meaford.
The victim advised that the suspect had grabbed their arms, with their hands, causing bruising. The victim did not require medical treatment.
As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 27 year old, from Meaford, with assault, section 266 Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 24, 2020.
