Get started on holiday cheer with a great fundraising event for the Meaford Public Library and the Meaford United Church.
On Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m., a cast of local readers will recite an abridged version of the classic Christmas story, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, at the Meaford United Church.
The event is a fundraiser for both the new Meaford Public Library building and the Meaford United Church Raise the Roof campaign.
Readers for the evening will be: Ross Kentner, JD Moffat, Leslie Ransom, Amy Solecki, and Christopher Thomas.
Hot beverages and treats will be available.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Get yours today at the Meaford Public Library. Entrance to the Meaford United Church is at the parking lot.
