The committee greatly appreciates the support of Canadian Base Operators for this important fundraising event. We are thrilled to be working with a member of our local military community for the Jean Chrétien fundraising event. The new Meaford Public Library is a once-in-a-generation project for Meaford and we hope this donation by Canadian Base Operators will encourage others in the community to participate in library fundraising events during this exciting campaign. Thank you to Canadian Base Operators for your generous contribution,” said Meaford Public Library Fundraising Committee chair Peter Bantock.

Peter Nowacki of Canadian Base Operators said, “We wanted to be part of this unique fundraising event featuring Jean Chrétien. It is so exciting to have such a distinguished speaker come to the community. At Canadian Base Operators, we see the new, accessible library building as a wonderful enhancement for Meaford. We recognize that the new library will be enjoyed by people of all ages in the community as well as many of our employees, colleagues, and members of the military. Canadian Base Operators is very pleased to support the future of the new Meaford Public Library through our donation.”
