Fall and Winter Minor Sports and Programs Registration will be taking place at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre on Thursday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Owen Sound Minor Sports and Programs Registration allows users to see some of the recreation opportunities available to youth over the winter months. Organizations participating in the Minor Sports and Programs registration nights include: Owen Sound Skating Club, Owen Sound Minor Basketball, Futsal, Special Olympics, Blue Water Junior Curling, Fudoshin Classical Karate, Owen Sound Nihon Itosu Kai Karate Club, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, and Harmony Hockey.

Proof of residency is required for participants enrolling with a Minor Sports Group who receive a subsidized facility rate from the city. The non-resident fee of $167 per child per sport applies to residents living outside of Owen Sound. Fall/Winter organizations include Owen Sound Skating Club, Owen Sound Ringette, Owen Sound Minor Hockey, and Owen Sound Girls Hockey.
Non-resident cards can be purchased the night of registration or in advance at City Hall, Suite 24, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, or call Service Owen Sound at 519-376-1440. Cash, cheque, and debit or credit cards will be accepted for payment of the non-resident cards.
