Scarecrow Invasion Souvenir Postcards Now Available

Staff

scarecrow postcards270A local service group has taken the initiative to fill a market demand for a souvenir item during the annual scarecrow invasion. The Rotary Club of Meaford has produced scarecrow postcards that are now available at three Meaford businesses: Grandma Lambe’s, Stedmans, and Simply Unique.

The postcards feature some of the endearing scarecrow faces from recent invasions. The images are high resolution images printed on glossy card stock and priced to sell for $2 each.

Visitors have been asking for a souvenir item such as this for a while now, according to Head Scarecrow Marilyn Morris.

The Rotary Club of Meaford takes its sponsorship of the scarecrow invasion to heart,” she said. “Its members are always ready to help in any way needed to assure the ongoing success of the event. The postcards are bound to be a hit with visitors and residents alike. We are so grateful to the Rotarians for taking on this initiative.”
