During the morning of June 15, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit, members of the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Grey County OPP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a property on Eliza Street, near Georgian Bay Community School in the Municipality of Meaford.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cocaine and cannabis marijuana. The combined estimated value of the seized Controlled Substances is $1120.00. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of Canadian currency and assorted drug paraphernalia. Four people were arrested and charged:

The fourth person is a young offender who was charged with possession of cannabis marijuana 4(1)CDSA and released on a Promise to Appear. Pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, police will not be identifying them.
The three accused adults were released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking before an officer in charge to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 19, 2018.
